On their first day (& Ross's actual birthday), we headed out to Ala Moana Beach - one of our favorites.

Unfortunately, school was still in session, so poor Mac was stuck at school while we were out frollicking in the Hawaii sunshine. ("MOM. I told you not to do anything fun. That's SO NOT FAIR." If I remember correctly, that was her response when I told her what we did...)
