Our first big outing with everyone was hiking up Diamond Head! Thinking it'd be an easy-peasy hike (for the Ortiz non-hikers) & even the tour books said so! They failed to mention the 100+ steps you have to go up... after the extensive (but relatively easy to travel) trail. Oh, & we did it in the heat of the day. Win!
The girl has energy for DAYS. Even after jumping from rock to rock & running all over, she still was able to almost run up the mountain....

Drake had to have his Bebe (blanket) with him. So Mac tied it around his shoulders so he wouldn't have to carry it. & then I died from the cute.
Mac, Gracie, Hector (with Alex on his back) & Ross quickly left Dawn, Drake & I in the dust. We took our time & enjoyed the scenery. Freakin' A, it's GORGEOUS.
At the top! & if you look closely, you can see an eye peering out in between our heads...

Somehow after (almost) running up the mountain & then coming back down, these two still had energy to climb a tree. I managed to haul myself off the ground in order to take the picture...
