The boy has pink eye.
Ew, gross. He woke up yesterday morning & his right eye was sealed shut w/ goop. Hector stayed with him all day yesterday & by the time I got home, it had moved on to the left one too. Today is my day to stay home & he looks a lot better! Actually, just judging from the picture, a LOT of better. The redness around his eyes & the swollen eyelids aren't showing up at all.
But doesn't he look so delicious?! What with all the snot & drool.
Rosie thinks so! She follows him around, licking the carpet where Alex has drooled/snotted on it. She's our special dog.
And have you ever tried to put eye drops in a 7 month old's eyes? Not easy. It's like trying to pry open Fort Knox.
And now the more I type about it, my eyes are starting to itch...
One word: breastmilk. Right in the eye. And, think about it: you can't even lose the applicator!
